High Protein French Toast by Chef Bayan

6 slices of regular or gluten-free bread 
¼ cup egg whites 
3 eggs 
1 tsp cinnamon 
1 1/2 scoops Zero Low Carb Creamy Vanilla Protein Powder or Isopure Zero Carb Unflavoured Protein Powder
Pinch of salt 
½ tsp vanilla extract
 

Directions

  1. In a blender add all the ingredients minus the bread, and blend until you have no clumps (3-5 seconds)
  2. Lightly coat a non-stick pan with cooking spray and heat it over medium heat. Once hot, add the soaked bread slices and cook for 4-5 minutes, flipping halfway through..
  3. Dip each slice of bread into the custard mixture, ensuring they are fully coated. Continue until all the bread is used.
  4. Top with maple syrup or powder sugar and serve
