Tubs of ISOPURE® ZERO & LOW CARB
The crease on the bottom of U.S. made tubs of protein is a mold mark from plastic thermoforming. It looks the same on every tub and is normal.
On the bottom or side of protein tubs you’ll find blue ink jet printing listing a manufacture date, expiration date and batch code. Powdered products have a 2-year shelf life, so the dates should be 2 years apart. For the ISOPURE® ZERO CARB drinks, the dates are printed on the neck of the bottle and the batch codes are printed on the bottom of the bottle with black ink.
Under the cap of protein tubs is a cardboard vacuum barrier that helps hold powder in place during shipping. This round disk is not for sanitation and is not glued into place. It is common for the cardboard to stick under the cap.
